Alcohol Monitoring and House Arrest in One Device

The SCRAMx device integrates both continuous alcohol monitoring and house arrest functionalities into a single ankle bracelet, providing comprehensive supervision for individuals under court-ordered restrictions.

Continuous Alcohol Monitoring: SCRAMx employs transdermal technology to sample the wearer's perspiration every 30 minutes, detecting alcohol consumption through the skin. This continuous monitoring ensures that any alcohol intake is promptly identified, supporting compliance with sobriety requirements.

House Arrest Monitoring: In addition to alcohol detection, SCRAMx offers house arrest capabilities by monitoring a continuous radio frequency (RF) signal between the bracelet and a base station placed in the home. Any disruption to this signal, such as leaving the designated area, triggers an alert, effectively enforcing home confinement conditions.

By combining these two monitoring functions, SCRAMx provides a robust solution for supervising individuals who are required to abstain from alcohol and remain within a specific location, thereby enhancing accountability and compliance with court orders.
